The Republic of Broadsea

Tynzeri, the Final Synchrony

The sigil of Tynzeri.

The last elven city in the world, Tynzeri was once a peaceful, nondescript forest town before the elves there secretly set in motion a plan that would doom their species. The details are unknown, but many of the elves of the northern Frostlands chose to betray the God-Emperor, in a fete that likely set off the Last Holy War.

No one knows what treason they unleashed, but the results are clear: the vast Bone Forest, stretching into the Frostlands. Trees once of bark and root, now stark gray bone, withered and wretched. And the city itself haunted by the spirits of those elves who were slaughtered by the God-Emperor's wrath, their own bones suffused into the walls of the city, a constant reminder to never betray the God-Emperor again.

The elves of Tynzeri have since venerated those who permeate their walls, honoring their legacy in song and displaying the trees of bone on their sigil.

The Synchrony

Many elves believe in a concept they call the Synchrony, which is their version of the end times: that rather than falling into decay or death, all things will simultaneously exist at once. In their stories, there is not one Broadsea but an infinite number which exist in different varities. One where the God-Emperor exists and one where he never existed, for example. To them the “end" of the world is the merging of these worlds into one, much like mixing together various paint colors.
